  The Dakar
After scoring its record-breaking 12th outright victory in the toughest test of man and machine on earth - the gruelling Dakar Rally - in 2007, Mitsubishi were denied the chance to do it all again this year, when the event was cancelled due to security related issues in areas along the route. The Mitsubishi Cross Country team is now considering its 2008 programme.
